Job Details:
Shipping and receiving clerks must be experts in hospital products and services, and how merchandise should be stored, handled and even maintained. Working in the warehouse the receiving and delivery clerk supervisor not only needs to know the products stored there, but the ins and outs of how they should best be packaged and shipped. Oftentimes, they use equipment and machinery to assist those preparing items to be shipped or received. Additionally, shipping and receiving clerks are responsible for the upkeep of the warehouse. The supervisor needs to perform all the duties mentioned and oversee and lead all the other staff within the delivery and receiving department.
