Job Details:
Manages staff members and directs the activities of the Cardiac Cath Laboratory Services. Monitors the orientation of all new staff and evaluates all staff members. Administers, plans, directs and evaluates the activities of the Cardiac Cath Laboratory to maintain quality patient care. Consults with physicians and staff on patient care issues and interpretation of facility policies, so that patient and staff needs are met. Oversees that all equipment operates safely and correctly. Maintains PAR levels on supplies. Develops goals, policies and procedures; prepares and submits the operating and capital expenditure budgets for the cardiac cath lab. Participates in CQI and performance improvement activities.
Current Licensure as a RN or RT in the State of Mississippi
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
BLS/CPR certification required.
CCRN (Certified Critical Care RN) is preferred for RN applicants
RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) for RN/RT or Cardiac Interventional Radiography/AART for RT preferred
Bachelor s Degree preferred
