FIREFIGHTER (HAZMAT TECH/EMT)

This position requires the incumbent to possess the following certifications:
Firefighter II, Airport Fire Fighter, HAZMAT Operations, HAZMAT Technician, National Registry Emergency Medical Technician - Basic Life Support (NREMT-B) certification, CPR, Driver/Operator Pumper and Driver Operator ARFF. Driver/Operator Aerial will be a requirement in your first year of employment. These certifications must have been awarded by National Registry, DoD, IFSAC or ProBoard to meet the requirement. Copies of Certifications MUST be submitted upon application to verify eligibility. If you do not possess all of the above certifications, you will be rated ineligible. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Controlling or extinguishing fires as a member of an organized military, industrial, volunteer, or governmental fire department/brigade; 2) Performing rescue operations; 3) Detecting, reducing, or eliminating potential fire hazards; 4) Controlling hazardous materials incidents; 5) Driving and operating firefighting vehicles; and 6) Performing non-invasive emergency medical procedures. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
